Now that the Gophers play outdoors, weather can be a factor.
Not too much excitement in terms of weather games today, but there are a few games that may be affected:
Wisconsin @ Minnesota, 12 Noon, ESPN
Rain has been falling much of the morning in southern MN and should continue through at least the early part of this game. They asked for it, and now they get to deal with it.
Florida State @ Boston College, 3:30 PM, ABC Regional Coverage
Heavy rain is making it northward along the New England coast. The rain is forecast to continue throughout much of the day and should create some problems in the ACC game this afternoon.
If the Arkansas/Texas A&M game were in College Station, it might be affected by rain and thunderstorms. However, the game is being held in Arlington at the new Cowboys Stadium where the retractable roof can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Lookout for punts hitting the TV!
